THE BACK STORY
Sergey Makhno is a Ukrainian designer, architect, CEO, and founder of Sergey Makhno Architects studio, who works in three directions: architecture, interiordesign, product design.
This man has his own unique view of things and philosophy.
It's not easy to create the design for designer. 18 polar different concepts: from radical art to conservative minimalism - many interesting options have been rejected for the sake of finding the best solutions.
The portfolio is divided into 4 categories, appropriate to the working areas: interior design, architecture, product design and completed projects. Our strategy team deliberately desolate the portfolio on the main page. The Site should look like a book, and frontpage - its intriguing cover.
Staticworks cannot convey the insane designer's energy. That is why we added the"Video" section for more dynamics and interactive blog, where Sergey tells about his work in details.
We created a website where the main task is not to make another design portfolio, but to embody the personality and the style of Sergey Makhno. «I want the website much better than Karim Rashid’s one" - this was the main task of Sergey when he came to us. Looking ahead: the website of Karim Rashid received silver award, Makhno’s one - gold.
The sitelooks good equally on any screen size. In order not to cut the quality of photos and videos, we have developed 5 different screen expansion versions.
